A fire that several damaged a South Hill home this afternoon was caused by a candle left too close to a Christmas tree, Spokane Fire Department Battalion Chief Dan Brown said.  Two boys, ages 9 and 10, were in the house, located at 38 W. 32nd Ave., at the time but escaped unharmed.
