Children closely watch their parent’s actions and will copy what they see them doing. If parents like to eat a lot of sweets, then children will think that is okay and they will not think about the consequences. Some parents don’t prepare healthy meals for their children and just pick up a bag of fast food to cure their hunger. These are not good habits to teach children as they all lead to child obesity.

Judgment day in a courtroom and possibly before a higher judge await whoever stole a baby Jesus statue from a downtown Minneapolis church. The statue, made of olive wood from the Holy Land and part of a larger manger scene, was snatched sometime late Saturday morning or early in the afternoon from the sanctuary of St. Olaf Catholic Church, said police Sgt. Jesse Garcia. The creche is 400 to 600 years old and worth about $30,000, Garcia said. Garcia said the theft “might have been just a prank.” “Someone stepped over the line, didn’t they?” Garcia added. Parish administrator Peter Barrett said the church wants no hand in publicizing the theft. Rather than leading to discovery of the statue, Barrett said that further coverage would have “just the opposite” effect.
